Be Intentional with your Finances

This month we are focusing on how to BE Intentional with your finances so you can be prepared for any unexpected financial change (and Christmas)

Planning Ahead:

  • Anticipate purchases you’ll need in the coming months; don’t wait until the last minute.
  • Keep an eye out for sales and consider buying items gradually to ease the financial burden.

Future Planning:

  • Think about your future care needs and how to finance them.
  • If you’re planning for your first home, take proactive steps to prepare.
  • Remember to finance fun! Everyone deserves joy in their life, even if it’s a small expense. For larger purchases, like a family trip, create a visual reminder (like a poster board) to keep you motivated about your savings and the joy that awaits.

Consider Refinancing:

  • Is now a good time to re-fi?
  • Choose the Right Lender: Research options that best fit your needs. Give me a call for some suggestions.

Organize Your Finances:

  • Utilize programs like QuickBooks, budgeting apps, or spreadsheets to stay on track.

When to Seek Professional Help:

  • Know when it’s time to consult an accountant for financial guidance.
  • I also have a trusted lawyer if your bills and budget have gotten out of control. If you have equity in your home, you have several choices. Even if you don’t have equity, I strongly recommend talking to a professional to guide you to make the right choices to mitigate your damages.
