Happy October!
We love this time of year! It is a great time for campfires (we love morning and night fires), football, soups and the beautiful colors nature gives us.
October is a month full of birthdays in our family. Annette’s mother, Wilma, would have turned 100 years old on 10/10/24. She made it to her 96th birthday. As we continue our theme of BE INTENTIONAL, this month we want to honor Wilma by encouraging you to try new RECIPES. She was a great cook. One of the family favorites was her fried chicken & mashed potatoes with gravy and then for desert one of her famous homemade pies. She very often made her pumpkin pie with a pumpkin( or squash) she cooked herself and a homemade crust.
We have included another family favorite breakfast idea for the recipe this month. Aebleskivers! They are a cross between a buttermilk pancake and a fried donut hole.
Please send us a text or an email and let us what know what recipes you tried!
Thanks!
Wade & Annette
